Tour of HarlemGrown and Phytopods Demo
Limited Capacity seats available

Experience a tour of one of NYC's most productive urban farms and urban greenhouses! HarlemGrown feeds local residents and teaches children and youth about sustainability and food access. The tour will involve a soil-based lot as well as a 1,000 af hydroponic on-ground greenhouse.

Phytopods are on display at HarlemGrown so this tour means you get to see both the urban farm and a demo of Phytopods: No room for tomatoes?  Phytopods offer the sameplanting surface area on a much smaller footprint. A Phytopod-3 offers 15 square feet of planting area-- that's a decent sized plot but it occupies only 4 square feet of your balcony, patio or terrace.  Why dig up your front lawn? A Phytopod has a number exciting advantages though: it's easier to protect, you can move it around on wheels and watering it is easy and can be automated.
